Oh my I love this store. Papercut is a Södermalm boutique with a wonderfully eclectic selection of magazines, books, films and music. The focus is on art, fashion, design, music, cooking. Yes they’ve got a few mainstream titles like Vanity Fair, The Paris Review and Elle Decor. But what keeps me going into this store is their inspired collection of alternative magazines from France, the UK, Australia, the US, Japan, Sweden and more.
They have titles that I don’t find in other stores–The Ride Journal, Atelier By Nigo, The Gentlewoman, The Simple Things, Anthology, ACQTASTE. I like flipping through the magazines for inspiration and even just running my fingers across the silky coated paper stock.
As someone who worked on magazines for many, many years, Papercut is a little slice of heaven for me. Plus, the book selection is small but interesting too. And there is always, always cool music playing.
