in Stockholm, what to see in Stockholm

Kungsträgården cherry blossoms

The cherry trees at Kungsträgården. By the way, that is a ski jump in the foreground of the fountain! Photo by Robert Corkery.

One of the prettiest spots in town just now is at Kungsträgården. The cherry trees are  in full bloom, making even gray days like yesterday and today a bit brighter. The pink glow from the trees is magical to see, although the place tends to be packed with people of all ages coyly posing for photos amongst the blooms. Of course, I would never do such a thing…

An up-close view.
