Port Clinton, Ohio likes to call itself  the walleye capital of the world. I can’t verify that more walleye are caught here than anywhere else in the world, but I can tell you that this town on Lake Erie is a huge fishing spot. Perch and walleye are the two most popular catches, but there are also smallmouth bass, catfish and even sturgeon.
