The view from my parent's backyard.
There was a few inches of snow on the ground when I arrived in Cincinnati and we had a white Christmas. But during the week before new year’s everything melted and I could see the ground again. It was sunny and a bit warmer and nice. But I missed the snow. Late yesterday afternoon, it began snowing again. And this morning, schools were closed. I had to laugh. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a school closing for snow in Stockholm.
But as for me, all feels right in the world of winter again.
