Wine and cheese are always a good combo in my book. But on Wednesday night, I was treated to a new way to enjoy both. We went to a wine and cheese tasting at Wijnjas Ost &Vinkällare, a cheese and wine cellar on Kungsholmen. We tasted old world versus new world wines, contrasting Californian with French. While the grapes were the same, the land on which they were grown were different, thus giving a particular taste to each. And then we tasted the wines with different hard and soft cheeses and it was interesting how the cheeses brought out different flavors in the wine.
