Although I’ve been here many times before, the charms of Amsterdam have not faded for me. This city is full of life, beautiful, quirky, artsy. I always seem to wander around and find new canals, live music, dance performances, beautiful buildings. And its seedy underbelly of a reputation seems to add to rather than detract from its appeal – there are even evening walking tours through the Red Light district that include a meeting with former prostitutes. Funny. How’s that for a way to capitalize on your vices…
