The lilacs are in full blossom on Södermalm.
The lilacs are in bloom all over Stockholm right now. As I walk down my street, there are several huge bushes that have an amazingly fragrant smell. I’m always tempted to pick some, but I know that when you bring the blooms inside, they die quickly. So instead, I find myself just lingering under the lilacs and inhaling. And I’ve noticed I am not the only one.
