It’s been a strange winter so far. Very mild. In fact, meteorologists are calling it the warmest winter in 250 years here in Stockholm. There’s been no real snow to speak of. At least not until yesterday afternoon and evening. I had just finished lunch with Zanne and as we headed outside, I said, oh, it’s raining again. Except it wasn’t rain. It was first sleet, then it changed to big, fat fluffy snowflakes. The snow lasted for about two hours and dusted the ground with a light coat of white and I was so happy. Then it stopped. And I know I sound like such a kid for saying this, I was disappointed. The snow started again around midnight and I had high hopes that there would be several inches on the ground when I got up. But it didn’t happen. I miss the snow.
Snow flurries, but no snowmen

Well, I am LOVING the lack of snow. Much easier to get out the door with two children. Not that we ever go anywhere, because somebody is always sick, but if we DID want to go somewhere, it would be easier. 🙂
Antropologa, I am glad that you like our snowless winter, but it certainly makes me feel like something is missing.
Kezia, We are perhaps very yin and yang!
