I like the glimpses into the past that you can get in so many parts of Södermalm. Tradesmen of all sorts lived in houses like the ones above from the 1600s until the 1800s. The houses are tucked into neighborhoods all around Söder and are often just across the street from thoroughly modern cafes and bars. And a fun fact: Greta Garbo was born in Nytorget not far from the houses here.
