Driving the duck boat

duck boat

Just ducky.

Last weekend, Robert and I were hanging out at Loopen, a great cafe and bar in a Södermalm boat harbor. We’d had a few beers in the sunshine  and were feeling fine. But when I saw a giant duck headed our way, I remarked that it was perhaps time for me to stop drinking. Then everyone around me in the bar began clapping and waving at the duck, so I knew that seeing the duck wasn’t just a byproduct of the alcohol.

Apparently, the fin duck is a boat, a duck, a sauna and a summer cottage all in one. I’d say it’s a floating party in motion. But I think you’d have to have a pretty good sense of humor to want to drive the duck.

I would love a swan…

Jane: A swan would be nice!
And Kezia: you just couldn’t resist the pun either?
