Seizing the day in Stockholm

the light in Stockholm at 3 am

The sun is already coming back up in Stockholm at 3 am.

Yesterday was gorgeous. But as I sat on my balcony enjoying the weather with friends last night, we all were worried: would we have any more days like this? It’s a funny thing. Living this far north, you do appreciate the warm sunny days. But you also fear losing them. Often, we will have maybe two weeks of weather like this and then not have any more for the rest of the summer. This means that you become desperate, doing all you can to enjoy this day. As the evening grew cooler, we put on sweaters and wrapped ourselves in blankets. Because we had to stay outside and enjoy this day.

As for today: so far, so good. It’s supposed to be sunny and 21C (70F). So now I need to get some work done so I can get outside this afternoon. I have to.

Antroplolga,
I know I hate it when people say that to me, so I won’t say it….but…
