As we were bicycling home on Friday evening, we saw this cool boat docked on Skeppsbron. So we stopped to take a look at the Loyal which is docked out of Bergen, Norway. The Loyal was built in Rosendal in 1877 and is a two-mast galleon, thought to be the oldest in the world still used for sailing. Apparently, you can also hire out the boat for trips or to practice your sailing techniques. The romantic in me has always wanted to sail on a boat like this. Maybe someday…
