As I was out walking on Götgatan last night, I could not help but notice this pink Cadillac Coupe de Ville. It’s such a classic big beauty of an American car and seeing it on a Stockholm street made me smile. I really wanted to go for a cruise in it, but had to settle for just taking a photo instead. From what I can tell on wikipedia, it looks like this model is from 1959, but I’m no car expert. I think I’ll need to check with my Uncle Jack in the US for the scoop – I know he’s gonna love it too.

How would you find a parking space for that in Stockholm? I’m sure it gets about 10 miles per gallon too. A very expensive fun car!
Hi Mary, I’m pretty sure it was parked illegally! But yes, it’s a killer car, isn’t it?
I saw this very car in Vasastan while walking Tanner today! Too funny. Swedes love Classic American cars. In fact, I think the biggest collection of classic cars outside of America is here in Sweden! Who knew…
If you like to visit the biggest car show for vintage American cars in the world you should not go to the USA, you should visit big meet in Sweden.

Even Jay Leno has dedicated a price to this show.
Just found this video from the Crusing at big meet, please observe it is highly illegal do a so called burn out, or not be seated in the cars seat or drinking in public side walks…..

But I suspect with 200.000 people visiting the event the police can’t keep it up..
