Whether you are a lover of good food or simply want to people watch and take photos, Östermalm’s Saluhall is a great place to go. Since 1888, this classic food hall has been known for both the quality of food sold in its meat, produce and cheese stalls, as well as in its restaurants.
On Saturday, we went to the Saluhall for lunch and some shopping. We ate at the Lisa Elmqvist restaurant which specializes in seafood and I had an amazingly good combination of an avocado topped with shrimp and bleak roe while my friends sampled salmon, toast skagen and crayfish.
Afterwards, we went shopping for dinner and purchased herring, reindeer, Jerusalem artichoke hearts, caviar and more. Needless to say, our dinner at home was also tasty.
