When I come back to Cincinnati, there are certain places that I have to see. Ault Park is one of them. For 11 years, I lived by Ault Park and have so many happy memories of being there. It was like a giant back yard for me and I had many picnics, hikes through the woods and walks there with my golden retriever. I went to countless parties at the pavilion, including the after the race party for Reggae Run, a 5k race, as well as weddings and concerts. For many years, I went to the flower show there as well as the 4th of July fireworks.
In the spring, I loved walking into the park from Observatory Avenue when all the Japanese Cherry trees blossomed. So when Robert and I stopped at the park on Wednesday, it felt like I was home.

Wow-it’s still very beautiful!
It is Maria! Do the photos make you miss our old neighborhood?
It is such a beautiful park! But I think you mean the after party for the Ragae Run. The after part for Run Like Hell was in the back of F+W if you remember. 🙂
You are right Alice – thanks! I will fix that.
Ahh, I remember those days of yore very well!! I think I might have joined you in a few of those outings. The Reggae Runs were funner than most night time outings but Ault Park still rocks during the day. I take my son, Timmy, there occasionally for hikes in the woods. Beer me.
