Flight attendants handed out hot towels.
It’s been a while since I went to a BIG party. And by big, I am talking more than 900 people, which is a good size by most any standard. The party was put on by The Local, an on-line news of Sweden in English site. So there was – of course – a lot of English being spoken. Which was fun.
Plus, there were people there from all around the world. And it was held at Cafe Opera, an always happening Stockholm night spot. The chief party sponsor was Lufthansa and the theme was carried out with everything from the invite – which looked like a boarding pass – to being greeted at the door by “flight attendants” who handed out hot towels. It was definitely a good getaway. And I didn’t have to leave town either.
