To kick off our final week in our apartment on a positive note, we had a small party on Saturday. I had been very down about our living situation, so Robert wisely suggested we have some fun and we had an impromptu dinner party. Surprisingly, 12 friends were able to come and it was such a good time. It was even worth the hangover on Sunday.

So did you finally find a new apartment??
Sharon,
No, we go into temporary housing while all our stuff goes into storage. Timing was terrible for looking–basically the month of July. And you can guess how many places are available to buy in Stockholm in July… Yikes! This has not been a fun process.
On TV this morning they said that week 33 is the week they sell most homes all year, so go get it !
Good luck. Hope it all works out for the better.
Enjoy your final days in your apartment! And, best wishes with the ongoing search. You are bound to find something you like soon! Maybe as Roger states: week 33???
Thanks Kezia! We need any boost of confidence we can get at this point!
Thanks so much James.
Thanks for the tip Roger!
yeah I know Kezia, in Scandinavia and some other countries in northern Europe are referring to the weeks by numbers, its just starts with week nr 1 in January and goes on, it has just always been like that. For example the winter holidays for schools in Stockholm is always week 9
Sand:
Good luck and positive vibes to you and Roberto in your apt/house search. That really sucks rocks that you got the boot from your old cool apt with the view of the water.
Sounds like a real hassle looking for a new place over there.
Luckily, there are outlets to soothe your frustration, such as bars and pubs and sangria. Yo?
