Just before I went to the US, we finally looked at an apartment that seemed to have most everything that we are looking for in an apartment, minus the killer water view we have now. But the space was good and would be better if we did just a bit of renovation. The neighborhood was fun and the building well kept. I could see myself living there and cooking in the kitchen and imagine our furniture there. It felt like it could be home. But then the bidding war started. In the matter of a few days, the apartment was priced way out of our spending zone.
So now I am back and there are lots more apartments available. We’ve been to several viewings. But none sparkle like that one in Vasastan.
