Christmas lights in Stockholm

It may be dark in Stockholm this time of year, but the town is definitely brightened up with Christmas lights. But it is not done up in an over the top, how many lights and blown up Christmas ornaments can you fit in a space kind of way, but rather in a more subtle fashion. It is more typical to see candles or stars in the windows and strands of white lights. Even the ferry boats that travel to the archipelago are decorated with strings of lights and candles in the windows, as you can see in the photo here. It makes me feel so festive. God jul.
