    Chips & salsa.

As regular readers of this blog know, I am a super grande fan of Mexican food. I love it. I crave it. It is the nectar of the gods to me. Nothing else compares. And I can’t really find good Mexican here in Stockholm.

So I took advantage of cinco de mayo and arranged a party for the American Women’s Club here. It was a potluck and we drank margaritas and sampled homemade enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, guacamole, salsa and much, much more. Muy delicioso! It was a little taste of home in Sweden.

Sometimes it seems like your whole blog is designed to make me jealous of the food you eat. 🙂

OK, that made me laugh out loud antropologa! And yes, you’ve figured me out: that is exactly my goal to make you jealous! (Not really.) But I do think you need to visit Stockholm!

I find it so funny that most americans think of mexican food first and foremost – and then I remember that we Brits always want a curry! Although Italian is pretty high on our list too, along with the fish and chips.

Yes, it is funny Jane. And I love it that you Brits OWN the curry these days!
