Dublin band The FitzaFrenic plays on Grafton Street.
One of the things I was really looking forward to in Dublin was seeing the buskers on Grafton Street. Any music lover knows you can see some interesting stuff there, so I was curious. Besides, I think it’s kind of a pilgrimage to check out who is playing.
And of course, I was extra curious to check out the street music after seeing the movie Once years ago. It featured former Grafton Street busker Glen Hansard doing his thing and was completely charming.
I have to say the music did not disappoint. I saw everything from full electric, multi-member bands to single guys playing a harmonica. I’m just sorry I didn’t have the time to hang out on Grafton a lot more. But here are a handful of photos.
While I don't know his name, this guy was super friendly. And has even played in Stockholm.
