The Gothenberg.

The Gothenberg was packed with on-lookers.

It’s not every day that you get to go to a royal wedding. The last one I remember even watching was when Charles and Diana got married and that was a long time ago. So while I was not actually at the wedding itself on Saturday, I did get to watch it on TV and even more fun, I got to see the Princess and her Prince.

The newspapers here today are proclaiming that the royal wedding was a success for Sweden. Whatever you may think about that, I have to say that the royals certainly did put on a great party.

Wow, what time did you guys get up to get such a great spot!!! We were right outside Gallerian, but right at the fence so we had a great view, unfortunately, none of the pictures turned out good. We went to the church yesterday to see all the flowers – lovely – and the church never shone so bright!!

Hi Sharon, We got there at 3, actually. Check out my post from June 20th to get the scoop. We lucked out in a big way! That’s cool about the church. I saw some photos in the paper today showing the crowds there.

Sandra, indeed you captured the happiness and glamor of the royal wedding. Great photos, Robert!

Thanks Suellen. It was a lot of fun. And I will pass your compliments on to Robert.
