The gorgeous view from our Wrest Point hotel room.

On our last day in Tasmania, a friend drove us up Mt. Wellington. Even though we were 1,270 meters above sea level, the temperature was warm and it was a gorgeous sunny day. Unlike our other days in town, the clouds did not completely envelope the mountain and we had great views across the city. As we drove back down the mountain, we stopped for a photo opp in front of Tasmania’s Cascade brewery. Lunch was dockside at the harbor in Hobart. We had super-fresh fish and chips. Yum.

So pretty. If only it weren’t so far away!

Antropologa: That is the one big problem with Australia.
