Is this not the best roof ever? I was completely in love with the tile roof of Stephansdom – St. Stephen’s Church – in Vienna. Made of almost 250,000 glazed tiles, the roof design is such a work of art. The rest of the church – both inside and out – is no slouch in the looks department, either. As for the details, this Gothic style church was first consecrated in 1147, but has been added on to and restored many times over the years.

Beauty whichever way you turn, somewhere like Vienna. My sister lived there for a few months, but she said that the prices were horrific, particularly for meat, which surprised her.
I noticed it didn’t curb her clothes spending, though!
Thanks Jane. The sheer wealth of Vienna and its architecture blew me away.
