Djurgärden tree

On this tree on Djurgården, the gold has landed.

And in Karlaplan, the leaves are still on the trees.

Over the last few weeks, Stockholm has turned gold. Everywhere, the leaves on the trees have mostly reached their peak and changed to a shade of yellow that gets 10 values brighter when the sunlight hits it.  On the gray days, the golden colors almost seem to bring a bit of sunshine – even when the leaves are on the ground.

Gorgeous pics, though have been looking at the weather forecast for the last few days and thinking all a bit chilly for me…

Thanks James. it has turned chilly. But overall, the temperatures have been very mild for his time of year, especially in comparison to this time last year when it was snowing. Lots.
