The Albertina museum in Vienna has a fantastic promotion for its Monet to Picasso show. A set of stairs leading into the museum has a reproduction of Monet’s The water lily pond, 1917-1919 on it. Basically, each stair has a different slice of the painting adhered to it. The overall effect is amazing. And obviously, picturesque too. There was a bride and groom there on Sunday taking their wedding photos. The stairs are worth checking out if you’re in Vienna, as is the museum itself. Of course.
