stromma boat

A Strömma sightseeing boat.

walk on water

While I suppose this statue on Djurgården is supposed to be a skater, here it looks like a man walking on water.

Yesterday at lunch I needed to clear my head – I was not making the progress that I wanted to with writing. So I took a walk along the water by Strandvägen and on Djurgården. Being by or on the water always seems to help me. And literally within 10 minutes, I was composing in my head again and had to get my notebook out. It’s hard to not be inspired by the beauty of Stockholm.

on deck

This is the deck of one of my favorite boats parked along Strandvägen. I could live here. Happily.

Isn’t it gorgeous Susan? Maybe they would let us drink a glass of wine there?

I love it too – do they have a cover for when it rains?

Jane, There is indeed a tent-like cover over it. You can see a bit of it at the top of the photo.

Ohhh … it looks so peaceful and beautiful. I could call a boat home (for awhile anyway). Glad you were able to summon the muse.

Bryn, I’ve thought the same thing for quite a while. And thanks. Hope the muse is being good to you, too.
