wrest point view

The view across Sandy Bay from our Wrest Point hotel last night.

After traveling for 37 hours, more than 10,000 miles through 9 time zones (I think) and five airports – including Stockholm, Helsinki, Hong Kong, Sydney and Hobart – we finally arrived in Tasmania yesterday afternoon. It was a globe spanning journey. But amazingly, I did not feel that bad. I got through an opening reception for Robert’s conference with no problem. But sometime during dinner I realized I was done. Bed was at 10.30. And I feel like a new person today.

sandy bay sailboats

Sailboats in Sandy Bay. The sky was stormy looking, but there was no rain.
