In my thinking, trying just a taste of everything is way better than eating just one big thing. So it makes sense that I am drawn to eating tapas, meze and appetizers. Recently, we tried a new-to-us tapas restaurant in Stockholm called Sardin. Robert and I went with Nici and Roger on a rainy Sunday evening to this small Södermalm spot and I think we all fell a little bit in love with this tiny restaurant.
We tried chorizo with pickles and dijon mustard, bikini- butter toast with serrano ham and mozzarella, a quesadilla with chèvre, walnuts and honey, lamb skewers with a yogurt sauce, goat cheese fritters with an apple and lingonberry chutney. Oh my it was good. Unfortunately, I was so busy eating and enjoying the food that I didn’t stop to take any photos after the initial bread and olives. So you’ll just have to trust me when I say that the tapas at Sardin are worth checking out.
