It was a gorgeously sunny day, the warmest we’ve had this year. So of course, everyone was out. Mariatorget looked like a modern day version of Seurat’s painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. Especially when I noticed the couple above with their elegant picnic: they had a lace-covered table, a vase of tulips, a tea pot and lunch. I kind of wanted to invite myself.
