Södermalm

The front window view. I liked how it looked like the vase was floating thanks to the glass shelf. And I also liked this kid's ride.

Södermalm

It was one of those days where it felt like everyone was out. Including us. No one could resist the light. Because while it’s been chilly in Stockholm, the sun was shining today.

On our walk, we stopped for lunch at Tårtan Cafe on Södermalm. It’s a cozy and cool place to hang out and it looked like it served a pretty good breakfast too. And as the name translates to mean the cake, I would say that the pastries probably tasted as good as they looked. But we wanted lunch.

We sat by the front window and the sun was shining directly in my eyes, but I didn’t mind. It just felt too good to soak up the warmth from the rays.

As we ate lentil soup with crusty slices of bread, we watched everyone walking by with their cross country skies and sleds. It felt good to be out.
