stormy stockholm skies

Looking at the clouds over the Stockholm mosque.

The weather has been all over the place the last few days: sunny one moment, raining the next, warm, then cold. It changes all the time. The skies have been gorgeous. It occurred to me that if I were back in the Midwest, we would  be having thunderstorms every day. But the Baltic moderates all that here. So we just have interesting cloud formations. And last night, we even had a very rare rumble of thunder.

I would love some rain, or even some thunder – I haven’t had any rain since the beginning of March. Trees are beginning to droop, plants are dying. We have had temperatures up to 28C and yet still had frosts at night. Just weird. And people wonder why the Brits are obsessed with weather…

Wow, that’s not good Jane. Meanwhile, my family in the US had rain every day for a month, I believe.
