Yesterday we went to the Stockholm Pride parade. We had arranged to meet up with James O’Brien and Graham, who were in town from Sydney and we had such a great time. The streets around the parade route were absolutely packed with spectators, including everyone from babies in strollers to grandparents, people in costume and tourists from around the globe.

The parade featured DJs, doctors, nurses, firefighters, politicians, policeman, students, political parties – even Mona Sahlin. Families marched in support of their gay children and siblings. Even though it rained for a while, the sun came back out and this was one big party, as you can see from the photos.
