It snowed all day long yesterday. At times, there were these perfectly straight and orderly snowflakes falling, looking almost more like rain except for the fact that the temperature was well below freezing. Then a gust of wind would come along and blow the snow into crazy whirling patterns. When I was out at lunch, it took about 15 seconds for me to be covered with the white stuff. In my white winter coat, I felt like I was camoflaged and stopped every few minutes to brush off the accumulation on my hat and scarf. Today, the snow is barely falling, with lazy flakes ambling by my window. I am kind of waiting for it to pick up.
I guess you know that I am loving the snow. But perhaps I am tolerant because in 10 days, I will be boarding the plane to summer. Oh yeah! Sorry to rub it in. Australia, here we come.

Australia! Summer! Cool! And we fly to Austria soon, where is much more snow 🙂 Happy journey!
Not much of a summer to report here in Sydney. Make sure you pack an umbrella!
OK, that’s just not fair Mark. You are shattering my fantasies of warm and sunny weather. I guess I will be hoping that summer magically appears there. Soon.
Victor, Austria will be fantastic with all the snow. Enjoy!
Sorry Sandra, it is still much warmer than Stockholm!
-12C here last night, and more snow – I am so jealous!
And because it is such a good addition, I moved this Facebook comment from Sofie Fogden – a Swede living in Australia – here.
Have you heard the 70s song “Hum hum från Humlegården by Ragnar Borgedahl? Lovely pic!
