Red sky at night

Looking toward the city from Södermalm. Photos by Robert Corkery.

Both photos were both taken on Fjällgatan.

Red sky at night, sailor’s delight? I think the next day was pretty spectacular, so maybe the adage does hold true. As we were driving the loads of boxes back and forth between Södermalm and Vasastan last week, we stopped to watch the last brilliant colors of sunset. Gorgeous, huh?

By the way, these photos were both taken from Fjällgatan. This street has fantastic views of the city and there’s an ice cream place that’s the perfect spot for watching the sunset.

Oh, my heart is missing those spectacular late July nights. Here’s hoping that August will have a few surprises for us before we head for the dark!

Awesome pic by Roberto!!!
Love the red/orange skyline silhouettes.
I get warm fuzzies looking at ’em.
I took a great one in FLA in June with Timmy’s silhouette on the beach. I’ll share it with youse soon.
