It’s hot here in Cincinnati. It was 95 degrees f – that’s 35 degrees c and while the humidity is lower than what it has been, it’s still steamy. Early this morning, I was woken up by thunder. Then later today, we had a huge thunderstorm with lots of thunder, lightening and wind. These high temperatures and thunderstorms are so much a part of a Midwestern summer and it all feels so familiar and like home to me. I am happy. And I suppose the contrast doesn’t hurt either – Stockholm has been averaging around 68 f (20c) and it has been raining. I love my life in Stockholm, but I am sorry – that’s just not summer weather to me. Although I am missing those long days of light.
Oh yeah it’s hot & I am loving it

Enjoy the great weather, you are not missing anything here!
Thanks Lou Lou. Stockholm has not had a great summer, but hopefully that will change.
