Another beautiful view.

What a night! As we were leaving Fotografiska Museet tonight at 8 o’clock, Robert noticed green lights in the sky looking north across the Baltic Sea. So we hurried home, put on warm clothes and took the camera and tripod to Skinnarviksparken. As we froze in the park, the northern lights put on a fantastic show for us.

First we would see a glow across the clear night sky. Then areas of deeper green would begin forming and spread into an arc like a rainbow across the sky. My fingers and toes were freezing, but the aurora borealis was a wonderful thing to see.

Wow! How neat! I didn’t know you could ever see them so far south.

Sorry I missed this! The big green lights showed themselves over Stockholm on St. Patrick’s day…seems appropriate! Cool that you got to see it…

Antropologa: It was a surprise to me too. The lights must have been magnificent up north that night.

I thought about the St. Patrick’s green as well Jodi. Too funny.
