Night light

The crane-like building on the left is Gondolen. You can have dinner or drinks in the arm of it. And as the Baltic is on just the other side of this scene, the view is spectacular.

Looking up toward Södermalm last night, you can see the temperature is 13 degrees c – it was a bit chilly. But the time is 10.07 pm. Look at how light it still is. Cool, huh? And when my night-owl husband came to bed at 3.30 am, the sun was fully shining.

the ‘crane like’ is actually Stockholms first elevator, Katarina Hissen, which was obviously a very spectacular invention in the 1896 when it was built.
