Making the most of what you’ve got

Sunbathing in the park.

Living in Stockholm, I’ve learned to be a bit more carpe diem about the weather. When it’s nice out, I get out. Even when it’s not so nice out, I get out. Yesterday, it was sunny, but not that warm – a high of around 15C. Even though I would hardly call this bikini weather, there were plenty of women in my local park in their bikinis. You have to admire their sun-seeking fortitude. As for me, I had a jacket on. But I did get out!

Always good to learn the lesson of “carpe diem,” especially as you are a Carp by birth : )

Hi Sandra! My partner and I were in England at the end of March and couldn’t believe what people were wearing outside! Even though it was between 10 and 15 degrees, there were plenty of boys running around in shorts and t-shirts, and girls in skimpy skirts and boob tubes, while we were rugged up in t-shirts, jumpers, jackets, and gloves…my partner was even talking about buying thermal underwear at one point 😛

Hi Christian, I love it! Thanks for sharing the view in England as well. I suppose that England falls in with Sweden in terms of needing to make the most of the weather!
