Long before the thanksgiving leftovers were gone, Christmas lights started appearing around Cincinnati. Over the last few days, all kinds of light displays – from the subtle to the insane – were pulled out of storage. I helped my Dad put his white lights up on Saturday. Being that this is the suburbs, his neighbor complained that now he would need to put his up. And indeed, they were up the next day. Funny. But they have nothing on the guy down the street who has giant nutcrackers by his front door, candy canes leading up the path and color-coordinated lights everywhere. I’m going to have to sneak a photo.

Hi Sandra,
Take more than one photo!! No lights on my street and went to IKEA today – they have the holiday section but no decorations anywhere else. I’m in no hurry, it all happens too fast anyway

Thanks for bringing a piece of America home. I so miss this time of year and taking car rides to look at all of the decorations.
Have a safe trip back, and thanks again for sharing!

I love seeing this stuff! Have you seen any house size inflatable Santa’ bobbing up and down yet? Ho Ho Ho enjoy the spirit!
Thanks ladies. I will definitely get some more holiday light photos and get them on the blog. There are a lot of options out there!
