The canal path was busy with walkers, joggers and baby strollers, but nothing like what it will be in a month or so.
For the first time this year, I had a taste of the summer that is to come in Stockholm. As I walked with my friends MB and Kathleen along the canal path on Djurgården yesterday, there were a lot of people out enjoying the sunshine. While it was nowhere near as crowded as it will be in the months to come, it was good to see people out again and enjoying nature. We even saw one boat and a couple of kayaks. Plus, the temperature hit double digits – 11 degrees c.
Crocus are starting to bloom.
While there is still ice in the shadier places along the canal, it is breaking up.
