The fantastic entrance to Luna Park.
The park was closed for painting repairs when we were there on Thursday.
Every time I’ve come to Sydney, I’ve seen the crazy face of the Luna Park entrance from across the harbor. Like some 10-year-old, I’ve wanted to see it up close. So it was fun to finally peek in on Thursday, even though the park was not open. I love the classic, old style look of the park and rides. The place just looks fun. By the way, Luna Park is at Milson’s Point, just under the Harbour Bridge and was built in 1935.
