On Tuesday night, I ate like a Viking. Or rather I should say, I ate at a Viking restaurant in Gamla Stan, the old town of Stockholm. The restaurant was called Aifur and while I can’t say how authentic our Viking meal was, we had fun. Aifur was a good place to have a work dinner with people who had come into town from around the world. We started by drinking mead and eating mussels. Then we had elk with a chanterelle sauce and lingon berries. Dessert was a poached pear. Then it was back to modern times.


Our group of internationals included people from 20 countries.

Wherever you do eventually settle down to, this blog is going to be the most amazing diary of all that you have eaten and seen and done.
