cafe frauenhuber

Cafe Frauenhuber was a good stop for a beer.

I like to fancy myself as a cool traveler. Someone who knows where to go and what to do without having to resort to the tourist trap stuff. But you know what, sometimes you just have to give into the temptation and do all the touristy things. I actually liked having a Singapore Sling in Singapore, for instance. And in Austria, I ate all kinds of  stereotypes. I had wiener schnitzel, Sacher torte and lots of pretzels. I also sampled Austrian white and sparkling wines, along with some Austrian and German beers. And you know what, I enjoyed them all.

Viennese style schnitzel

Viennesse wiener schnitzel with cranberries, potatoes and parsley. Comfort food.

torte from cafe mozart

A decadently good piece of cake from Cafe Mozart.

secco at cafe mozart

Seccco from Austria.

zwettler

Zwettler beer. Also Austrian. And smooth.
