Autumn at the beach

Baltic beach

Look at that cold gray water. I was definitely not wanting to hop in for a swim.

autumn seaweed

Even the seaweed had turned a nice autumnal orange.

old boat

I liked the mini splash of color by this old boat on the rocky shoreline.

I don’t usually associate being on the beach with any time of year but summer. But it was fun to at least walk along the sand on Sunday. Even though there was no way I was getting in that chilly water, it was good to see all the changes that autumn brings to the seaside.

When I lived in the Hamptons I did beach walks year-round, including winter. Very interesting contrast: snow and sand. Lovely pics, Sandy!
