Around Stockholm: or a walk in the woods, but without Bill Bryson

Here are some more photos of Saltsjöbaden, the seaside town – it literally translates to salt sea baths – where I spent Easter weekend. Just now, Robert and I have so many decisions to make about our future in terms of where we will live and what we will do, including even whether we will stay in Stockholm. As I said to a friend the other day, it’s like we have all the pieces of the puzzle, but none of them are quite fitting together yet.” I am sure we will figure out what’s next, but just now it’s hard. In the meantime, I am anxious. So I suppose I am posting these peaceful forest and Baltic Sea views in the hope that they provide me with a little grounding.

Hi Sandra,
I am not a facebook “regular” so therefore once in great while I take a quick look at your posts.I have really enjoyed them!
Not so much for the details of your daily life, travel etc…but more for the struggles!
We all struggle…some of us are more vocal than others.
I totally agree about the pieces of the puzzle.Tom and I have struggled for years as to where we are going to end up…I mean many many years…
Recently we kind of found a bit of peace in our “original” decision of our two home retirement…lets just say that we agreed to give it a try!!!
In the meantime we realized how much time, effort, and emotion we wasted
trying to figure it all out!!!We almost got robbed of the todays…trying to figure our “future”.I hope that you and Robert are better, more at peace and
quicker about your decisions.Life indeed is a struggle!!!Best of luck!
love, Sia

Sia,
Thanks so much for sharing your own hard-learned wisdom. I am glad to hear you are finding some kind of peace and I hope that Robert and I will soon too. And I will definitely keep “living for today” in mind.
Hugs to you.
