The Mediterranean landscape is parched and dry around us. Olive groves and vineyards line the rocky limestone hills and twisty-turny coastline roads. The Adriatic has the very clearest brilliant blue water and you can see the rocks and hundreds of fish of all shapes and sizes swimming below. In fact, we’re surrounded by the gorgeous water and lots and lots of rocks.
The beaches are pebbly and it’s easier to wear shoes than go barefoot on them. The stone streets of the old town are worn smooth, slippery even. Buildings are also crafted from stone, as are many of the roofs as well. As for Primošten itself, it’s not far from Split and is an island that’s now connected to the mainland via a causeway and bridge. The name means “brought closer by bridge.” Nice, huh?

Ooohhh … lovely.
so lovely…Paul and I wanted to go to Croatia while we were living in Stockholm, but it just never happened. Hope to get there some day though. Enjoy yourselves!
Thanks Bryn and Mary. I definitely can recommend it here.
