A heavy frost coated the trees in the square at Mosebacke.

Stockholm treescape.

Monday morning, it was foggy and the heavy atmosphere left an amazing frosty coating on the trees. It was magical. As soon as I saw it, I thought: I have to get a photo. But then I got caught up in getting to work and didn’t take a shot as I hurried about my morning routine.

Luckily, I had to get out at lunch. And the frost was not quite as spectacular, but still around at least. So I took a few photos around the square in Mosebacke on Södermalm. And you  know what? My camera just did not do the scene any justice whatsover. So you have to take my word for it: it was a beautiful Monday.

And did I mention: the sun came out for the first time in forever.

Very exciting to read. I’m there Tuesday afternoon. Checking out the weather forecast for the next two weeks. http://www.holiday-weather.com/stockholm/forecast/fourteen-day/ Excited that more snow is predicted.

We had a light dusting of snow yesterday James, so things are looking good for you! And I look forward to seeing you soon.
