karlavägen at night

Snowy Karlavägen on Saturday night in Stockholm.

Finally, at almost the end of January, it feels like winter. It started snowing Saturday afternoon. And it continued most of Sunday. It was a very light snow and it didn’t really accumulate all that much. As we walked home in the snow on Saturday night, a quiet had come over the city. I stopped, lifted my face up and let the snowflakes fall on my face. Nice.

Just found Aveda, on my way to find another beauty salon, which i didnt go to! Am now in beauty heaven! Waxing, massage, hair, lash tint etc. all there. So am feeling very secure today. Am here for 3months living in gamla Stan and I love it, its similar to Sydney -harbour , friendly people. Things I have noticed-mad for queues and the garbage men don’t whistle when they work, in fact I havent heard anyone whistle! However, been asked out lots of times what a great country!
