Pure and Simple Stockholm serves up breakfast on Saturdays.

Flowers in bags.

I’ve been thinking a lot about spring lately. And while it won’t be arriving as quickly as I would like, there are signs of it–inside. Last Saturday as I was out for a walk, I stopped into Pure and Simple, a gorgeous boutique in the Södermalm neighborhood of Stockholm.

I couldn’t resist going in because 1) they had a sign on the front steps welcoming me in, 2) they had the sweetest little paper bags of flowers on the inside steps, and 3) mostly because the store made me feel like spring COULD be just around the corner.

By the way, Pure and Simple has clothing, home accessories and books.  They always seem to play great music. And they have Lördagsshopping (Saturday shopping) on, you guessed it, Saturdays. For Saturday shopping, Pure and Simple serves up little breakfast treats for customers. Nice, huh?

Welcome in.

That made me want to rush straight to a garden centre and buy a tray of white violas.
